Cartoon Zoo

Since 2015, Cartoon Zoo has hosted a cartoon caption challenge.

What began as a Facebook experiment has grown into a community of writers who show up to do one thing: write the funniest caption for a single-panel cartoon. We drop a new cartoon each morning.

We are currently building a standalone app for Android and iOS — a dedicated home for the daily challenge, the winners, and the growing community. We especially like seeing the leaderboard and those competing. Similar to pro sports or Survivor, we operate in seasons. We are starting a new league, a new season, a new format. All for you to enjoy.

Great captions, the best ones are economical, and land where you least expect. We've watched writers get genuinely better at this, and it has inspired us to build a platform.
